TEXT from the sign at the staff car: The Locomobile-This conventional 1917 limousine was one of 12 purchased as staff cars for General of the Armies John J. Pershing and the General Staff. This particular car saw no service in France, although it appears Pershing used it on an inspection at Aberdeen Proving Ground early in the war.
