The Princeton Town Hall is a monumental Richardsonian Romanesque building that occupies a prominent position fronting the Common in Princeton's town center. The building was erected in 1885 and was designed by prominent Worcester architect Stephen Earle during the most prolific period of his career. It is a red brick structure with brownstone trim dominated by a slate-roofed round stair tower. Entry to the building is through a rounded arch within a projecting pavilion.
