"The Bollée wind turbine is a type of wind turbine invented by Ernest-Sylvain Bollée (1814-1891), which was used for pumping water (a wind pump). Then we began the work of relocating to the site" explains Michel Gaboriau President of the Sorigny Patrimoine association.
It measures 20 m and the well is 7 m deep, the diameter of the turbine is 2.5 m, the rotor has 18 blades and the stator 26 blades. The stator and rotor blades are in the colors of the rainbow. It is equipped with an orientation butterfly which orients it according to the wind and puts it in safety if the wind speed becomes too high (80 km / h). When the wind speed is 40 km / h, the flow rate is about 3 m3 / h. "

Une éolienne Bollée, la petite commune de Sorigny en possèdait une au 19e siècle. Elle pompait de l'eau pour alimenter le lavoir municipal. Les années 60 ont mis un terme à son utilisation. Démontée, sa structure fut envoyée à la ferraille. Mais l'éolienne est restée dans les mémoires. Et l'association Sorigny Patrimoine a entrepris en 2015 de la réintroduire dans le paysage.
Ses passionnés de patrimoine local ont réussi à dénicher une éolienne de même type à Saint Gervais-la-Forêt près de Blois. La municipalité a pu l'acquérir pour l'euro symbolique. Ensuite, il a fallu la remettre en état. "Celà a demandé un an et demi aux bénévoles de l'association. Puis nous avons commencé le travail de réimplantation sur le site" explique Michel Gaboriau Président de l'association Sorigny Patrimoine.
Elle mesure 20 m et le puits est à 7 m de profondeur, le diamètre de la turbine est de 2,5m, le rotor comporte 18 pales et le stator 26 pales. Les pales du stator et du rotor sont aux couleurs de l’arc en ciel. Elle est équipée d’un papillon d’orientation qui l’oriente suivant le vent et la met en sécurité si la vitesse du vent devient trop élevée (80km/h). Lorsque la vitesse du vent est 40 km/h, le débit est d’environ 3 m3/h."
