Cette église catholique romaine est située sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent dans l'arrondissement Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension de la ville de Montréal.
Depuis sa création en 1948 jusqu'en 2007, cette église s'est nommée « Église de Saint-Thomas-Apôtre ».
Entre 1905 et 2006, l'église fait partie de la paroisse Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire. Cette paroisse est érigée canoniquement le 18 septembre 1905 par Mgr Paul Bruchési, archevêque de Montréal.
L'église Saint-Thomas-Apôtre a été bâtie selon les plans des architectes Gagnier, Derome et Mercier, et construite entre 1949 à 1950 par la société Heroux et Robert Entreprenneurs.
L'église est bâtie dans le style byzantin-romain.
En 2006, l'église a été vendue à la Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal (Mission de Notre-Dame-des-Philippines). Quatre ans après l'achat, en février 2010, l'archevêque de Montréal a dédié l'église à la congrégation philippine.

This Roman Catholic church is located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough of the city of Montreal.
From its creation in 1949 until 2007, this church was called “Church of Saint-Thomas-Apôtre”.
Between 1905 and 2006, the church was part of the parish of Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire. This parish was canonically erected on September 18, 1905 by Mgr Paul Bruchési, Archbishop of Montreal.
The Saint-Thomas-Apôtre church was built according to the plans of the architects Gagnier, Derome and Mercier, and built between 1949 to 1950 by the company Heroux and Robert Entreprenneurs.
The church is built in the Byzantine-Roman style.
In 2006, the church was sold to the Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal (Mission de Notre-Dame-des-Philippines). Four years after the purchase, in February 2010, the Archbishop of Montreal dedicated the church to the Philippine congregation.
