Ellen was born at Kingsborough on the Hodgkinson Goldfields on May 5th 1889 and passed way on November 1st 1990. In her lifetime she would have witnessed two World Wars, the Federation of Australia, the introduction of Decimal Currency and Australia's Bi-Centenary.
