Authentic 1897 blacksmith shop with working forges. Filled with tools and equipment from its 100 year history. Historian on site. The gift shop is well-stocked with Galena-forged items made by our blacksmiths. Come watch the sparks fly at the Old Blacksmith Shop! This is a 1.5-story museum built in 1897. The foundation is not visible. Exterior walls are vertical metal siding. The building has a side-gable roof clad in metal. Windows are original or historic wood 6/6 double-or single hung. Doors are original or historic wood Batten.
