U.S. COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935, triangulation station,
approx 6 MILES, straight line, SW of Kelvin on the east side of the Florence-Kelvin Road, approximately .5 miles from the top of Ripsey wash, and 65 feet from a side road that originally went to Wolley.
The monument is on a small hill covered in small rocks.
Coming from Florence, it is approximately 24 miles from the intersection of HWY 79 and the Florence-Kelvin Highway on the east side of the road.
