Texico, New Mexico is just across the Texas/New Mexico border from Farwell, Texas. This Welcome sign is at the intersection of US-60 and N. State Street. It is approx. 365 from the state line.

The population (2010 census) of Texico, New Mexico is 1,130. As the sign says they are home to the Wolverines. The name Texico is a portmanteau of "Texas" and "New Mexico". The city was incorporated in 1908.
