I am not finding a lot of information on this Post. I have found, however, that the Post sponsors a bar, open to the public (important in a tourist town like Galena), called Grant's Bivouac. It is open from 10am to 1am.

This is a 2-story fellowship hall in the Italianate style built ca. 1880. The foundation is not visible. Exterior walls are brick. The building has a flat roof. Windows are original or historic; contemporary wood 4/4 fixed; double hung. Doors are contemporary wood glazed; recessed entry; Chamfered Edge.
