This directional lighthouse aligned with the Kermorvan lighthouse has been used for a hundred years to cross the channel of the Four in safety.
Its tapered shaft, painted white towards the south, is terminated by a corbel in consoles assembled by arches supporting a cylindrical stone balustrade. The tower rests on a tapered base in masonry of granite freestone, coming from Aber-Ildut.
It can be visited in summer.
Nearby is the CROSS-Corsen (Regional Operational Center for Surveillance and Rescue) which monitors offshore traffic and coordinates maritime rescue in the West Channel.
