Verscholen in de duinen van Oostvoorne bevindt zich in de omgeving van het Agatha huis een overblijfsel uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het is de Biber bunker, een enorme betonnen kolos bestaande uit 3 meter dikke muren. De bunker, ook wel bekend als De Stelling Biber, is uniek in Nederland, alleen al vanwege het feit dat het de enig begaanbare bunker van deze soort is. Gelijksoortige bunkers in Terschelling en op Zandvoort zijn zoals vele andere bunkers onder het zand verdwenen
De Biber bunker is vanwege zijn bijzondere karakter in de Tweede Wereldoorlog, maar ook vanwege zijn latere functie, een bouwwerk dat zeker gezien moet worden. Het verhaal van deze bunker mag u zeker niet missen. De Biber bunker is gebouwd als radarcommandopost voor de Duitse luchtmacht ("Luftwaffe"). Van hieruit werden acties ondernomen om geallieerde bommenwerpers, op weg naar Duitsland, te onderscheppen. Na de oorlog is de bunker nog functioneel geweest als commandopost van de burgerbescherming.
