This bench in honour of Mr Harold France can be be found at the southern end of Onchan Park 'Pitch & Putt' course.
This Bench has a concrete frame supports the seat and backrest which are formed from horizontal dark-coloured wooden slates.
There is a rectangular plaque attached to the backrest which is inscribed as follows:
'In Memory of
Mr HAROLD FRANCE
1911 - 2004
Donated by his family and colleagues in the
Royal British Legion, Onchan Branch'
The bench is so positioned as to afford views to the west towards the coast and the Irish Sea.
