This large mural, listed at 20'x120', covers the entire facade of Fellowship House, a large community center on the south side of Chicago. The mural explores the question of how people decide who they consider a "fellow" and who they consider an "other". The mural is painted in bright primary colors with several realistic depictions of children interspersed with silhouettes and other more figurative and imaginative paintings of robots or aliens. The mural also includes geometric shapes and quotes as well as questions that seem to be directed at the viewer, such as, "Why do people pick a person to pick on?" Though very large, the mural does not have a beginning or an end, but any segment of it can be an entry point. The mural addresses the seemingly-arbitrary ways that we as humans divide other groups of people into categories.
