The Modellfluggruppe Koblenz is a club of modelplane enthusiasts which was founded in 1972. Their aircraft field is placed near the district Rübenach on top of the hill which is southwest of the district. The club takes part in different events related to model airplanes. The airfield is used by helicopters as well as motorplanes. Gliders are launched in tow by other motorplanes.
Non members of the club can ask for permission to start at the airfield at flight-control.
Model havin combuster engine are allowed if their number is not more than three. Jetengine driven models are allowed if no other model is in the air at the same time.
