Officially titled, “Lighthouse Connector Park”, the Boardwalk in Grand Haven is located on the southern bank of the Grand River. It is about 1.5 miles in length and goes past downtown Grand Haven, the municipal marina, the Coast Guard Station, the Grand Haven State Park, and out to the lighthouses on Lake Michigan. There are restaurants, retail shops, benches and picnic tables along the way. The boardwalk is composed of concrete and wooden planks with iron railings along the narrower sections.

The entire walkway of the boardwalk is ADA accessible. Additionally, the benches along the boardwalk are made to be user-friendly with both arms and backs to rest on.
