Boat rigged to trawl something...fishing or dredging I am not sure...maybe even military built...

County of boat: Gasconade County
Location of boat: MO Hwy 100, a few miles SW of Hermann
Boat's Hull Number: AFB 250 B

This old boat has a military look, reminiscent of the Navy PT boats, only this one is steel. PT boat were plywood.
This boat is set up, i.e. rigged, to trawl to to dredge ... or even drill...I could not figure it out.

I did a bit of research, troweling myself, through the web and found nothing that even closely resembled this boat.
With the AFB bow, or hull number could this be an Air Force Boat, or Army Fast Boat...????

Is there a tour: Open to view along the highway...

If boat is a garden what was planted in it: nottin' but rust
