Aptly named Dial House on High Street, Hook Norton.
The sundial incorporated into the south face of the building is dated 1766.
"House, now 2. C17 and C18. Coursed ironstone rubble with ironstone quoins and C20 tile roof. 3 brick stacks at ends and ridge. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. M-shaped roof. Five 16-pane sash windows on first floor. 2 doors flanked by 16-pane sash windows. Sundial dated 1766 above left door. Canopy hood to door on right. Hipped dormer to Dial House. Interior: Cellar under right part. Blocked doors, in dividing walls on both floors. 2-storey C17 or earlier range to rear has steeply pitched gabled dormers flush with main wall. Lozenge shaped, blocked windows above ground floor to rear elevation."
