Levelland Website

"Located at the corner of Ave H & Austin St on the Hockley County Library. This mosaic was designed & constructed by Burl Cole in 1984. The scenes were inspired by recollections of those who taught and attended the schools, old photos & the artist’s ability to put a bygone era into a heart-felt tribute to the schools of the 1930’s in Hockley County. The mosaic uses 28 different colors.
