In the center inside a gold frame with 1905 at the top, an eagle, and the American and Texas flag is a picture of the 1905 courthouse which was replaced by this current one in 1916.

Circling the frame from top left is a white building with a rider, a train, a cotton wagon, a list of Veterans with an Indian and a buffalo on each end of the list.

Next is a movie theater and old cars, a church with a buggy, and a picture of the way the 1916 courthouse looked before it was remodeled.
