Pioneer Park - Nardin, OK - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

There are only about 30 residents of Nardin today, but evidence around town shows that the people are conscious of their town's history and in the past have tried hard to keep it alive. On the edge of this park is an old frame church with a historical marker celebrating the town's 100th anniversary in 1998. Also in the park is a bell which once rang from the Christian Church in Nardin from 1899 to 1927.

The park contains a covered pavilion with picnic benches, a metal playground slide and a few swings. A brick fireplace is partially down and has seen better days. Perhaps a few local children still swing on the swings, or families have a picnic in the pavilion. Sad when towns die.
