In Obermendig you can find this sundial in the green areas near Hochsteinstraße. It was donated by the stonemasons' association Mendig. A circular basalt stone, which is slightly angled, was decorated with various motifs of the stonemasonry profession and the region. On the paved square in front of it, there are the time units I, II, III, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII.
Because of the autumn, the time units are not necessarily clearly visible.
