William Herbert Teakles was born in 1874 and passed away in 1974 at 100 years of age.

William Herbert Teakles gravestone is located in Sage one of the oldest parts of the cemetery. William and his wife Sarah are in section CD in plots 16 and 17 respectively.

William and Sarah are missed by family and friends.

Oliver Cemetery was established about 1870 and is very well maintained. There is a veterans section, and a scattering garden and the oldest sections are Sage and Okanagan. There are approximately 3,500 interments that are graced by towering trees and well maintained grassy areas.

There are numerous dedicated benches and trees, and a memorial garden with a gazebo.
