The beach Silgar is a complex galician located in the urban stretch of coast in the municipality of Pontevedra in Sanxenxo . It has an extension of 750 meters and is accompanied from end to end by the eponymous promenade.
It is separated from Baltar beach , in the parish of Portonovo , by a promontory known as Punta do Vicaño .
On this beach is, located on a rock a few meters from the coast, the statue of Madama , the work of artist Alfonso Vilar Lamelas
