Hier matin, les habitants du bourg se sont réveillés les pieds dans l'eau. Installés dès jeudi après-midi par les employés des services techniques, dès que l'alerte inondation a été lancée, les sacs de sable et les bâches n'auront malheureusement pas fait le poids face aux eaux de l'Arguenon et de la Rosette sortis de leurs lits, hier, vers 2 h. Au moins 1 m d'eau rue de Saint-Étienne Et, au lever du jour, certains habitants du centre-bourg et notamment ceux de la rue des Forges, de la rue Saint-Etienne et de la rue de Clisson ont été réveillés, les pieds dans l'eau. Ainsi, en milieu de matinée, on a enregistré plus d'un mètre d'eau dans la rue Saint-Etienne. C'est d'ailleurs dans cette rue et à proximité que les sapeurs-pompiers ont procédé à l'évacuation en barque de plusieurs habitants. L'un d'entre eux, choqué par cette nouvelle montée des eaux, a même dû être hospitalisé. Anne-Gaëlle, installée dans sa maison depuis seulement six mois, a dû faire du feu dans sa cheminée, hier matin. « L'eau s'est infiltrée dans mon sous-sol et j'ai donc dû couper l'électricité. Moi qui envisageais de faire des travaux, je vois bien maintenant par où je vais devoir commencer et ce que je vais devoir faire... une fois l'eau évacuée. » Au fil de la journée, l'eau a continué sa progression dans les rues et dans les maisons et même dans les locaux de la mairie devant laquelle, en milieu d'après-midi, il y avait 20 cm d'eau. Les résidants de l'Ehpad montés à l'étage À l'Ehpad (Établissement d'hébergement pour personnes âgées dépendantes), dans l'après-midi, décision avait été prise de monter au premier étage les résidants du rez-de-chaussée par précaution. Et à 17 h, on a vu les matelas passer d'un étage à l'autre. Mais, une légère décrue s'amorçant, l'évacuation de l'établissement n'était plus envisagée, hier soir.
