In October 2020 a new Black Lives Matter mural was painted along Duyrea Way to the replace the one that was removed because, inadvertently, it was illegally painted in Court Square. The new mural uses the same style as the original where each letter of the phrase BLACK LIVES MATTER was painted by a different artist and employs a different design. The group of volunteers who painted the mural was led by City Councilor Tracye Whitfield.
