This point is the 8th of the Route of A Esmorga. This is an important book of Blanco Amor. There is a Wherigo of the route.
"Final point of the route, from here our protagonists go to the train station, a destination they will never reach, but not before stopping to contemplate the burning silhouette of the Pazo do Castelo, a possible reference to the disappeared Castelo Ramiro, an old medieval fortress of the city. For our part, at this end of the road we meet the author himself, Eduardo Blanco Amor, thanks to the sculpture in the Bispo Cesáreo Gardens that recalls him. Next to it, a plaque indicates that we are, neither more nor less, in the reader's corner."

On page 79 of Chapter IV we read: "Cando pasamos pola Lameda aínda se vía o relustro do lume do pazo, que me desacougou moito velo, pois xa se me tivera esquecido; ou, ó menos, non pensara nil"
trad: When we passed by Lameda we could still see the gleam of the fire in the palace, which made me very uneasy to see it, for I had already forgotten it; or at least not think in it
