Located on Warner Rd, which is also an on-road segment of the Bruce Trail, Laura Secord Trail and The Great Trail (formerly Trans-Canada Trail). This is a short rural road that probably sees too much traffic as visitors drive down to check out the Screaming Tunnel.
Not sure who owns the land the tree is on and what the theme is - although the theme appears to be "Any Footwear Will Do" since nailed to the tree one will find rollerblades ("inline roller skates"), ice skates, rubber boots, flip-flops, and of course several pairs of shoes. The tree appears to be an old apple tree and is still alive.
Looking at the current streetview image, from 2016, there are only a few pairs of shoes on the tree at that time, so this may be a recent project. The 2014 image has no shoes and also a much healthier looking tree.
