This Citizens Memorial is located in Wayland, Michigan on the property of Bysterveld Park. Bysterveld Park is a 70 acre park maintained by the Allegan County Parks Department. The Park is located on 14th Street. The memorial consists of a wooden footbridge along the walking trail providing a way across a small stream with a wide marshy area. There is a plaque attached that reads:"Bridge in memory of August & Lucy Lettinga"
