The painting in the Main Altarpiece –by an unknown author– dates from the early seventeenth century and together with the image they give the whole a three-dimensional appearance. This Crucified Christ is carried in one of the Steps of Holy Week.
In addition, the Chapel has numerous images, among which stand out that of the Christ of the Lanterns –as a representation of the Lacerated Christ in one of the Steps of Holy Week–, the Christ of the Caniña that represents Ecce Homo (Easter Passage ), Simón de Cirene helping Our Lord to carry the cross (Paso de SS), the Virgen de los Dolores (Paso de SS) and also images of Santiago Apóstol on horseback, Santa Isabel (Queen of Portugal) and Santa Lucia , a representation of the Angustias, the Christ of Gold and the Immaculate Conception.
