Long Description:
I den lille ferieby Liseleje i Nordsjælland findes denne lille selvbetjente bilbane for børn.
På skiltet med den engelske oversættelse er det da gået helt galt i de første linjer....

På Skiltet står:
"Childrenscar track
Children over the age of 4½ is aloud to drive alone."

Resten af teksten er, så vidt jeg kan vurdere stavet korrekt.

På dansk bruger vi lange sammensatte ord, men det engelske er sammensat og delt forkert. Det skulle have heddet Children's cartrack.

Der er også en grammatikfejl.
Der står: children.....is aloud.

In the little town Liseleje in North Zealand this car track is located.
The sign with the English text has some crazy errors regarding spelling and grammar.

On the sign is written:
"Childrenscar track
Children over the age of 4,5 is aloud to drive alone."

The rest of the text is correct as far as I can see.

In Danish we use very long compounded words and directly translated it is "childrencartrack"

In English the correct spelling would be:
Children's cartrack. (= a cartrack for children)
There is also a grammar error where it says:
Children ......is aloud.
Children is a plural and therefore it should be "are" instead of "is".

But what I find most funny is the word "aloud".
It is a funny mis-spelling of "allowed". and as an interesting detail the word is correctly spelled on the same sign in another sentence, Just as if the first translator was dismissed and another one hired to translate the rest of the sign.

Another funny detail is that on the Danish sign it says 4½ (about the age of the children) and 4,5 on the english sign.
The first way is the most correct.
Original Language: Danish

Translation of foreign language portion of the sign:
Children's cartrack Children aged 4½ year or older are allowed to drive alone. ......
