EN: Chocolat Alprose is located at Via Rompada in an industrial quarter in the northwest of Caslano. This is the only production site of this well-known brand. It has about 100 employees. They produce about 6000 tons of chocolate per year and it is exported to 35 countries.

The company was founded in 1957 under the name of Titlis-Chocolat. In 1964 it was bought by the German Stollwerck group. Since 2011, Alprose belongs to the Belgian owned Baronie group.

On the south side of the area is a chocolate museum called "SchokoLand". With about 70'000 visitors per year it is the most visited museum in the canton of Ticino.
