This Insect Hotel can be found in the Inner Wheel Club of Ramsey Sensory Garden.
The Insect Hotel is a large rectangular box mounted on two 4ft wooden stacks or 'legs'. The box has three separate compartments which offer different insect environments. For example, the 'hollow tubes mimic the hollow stems of beetle holes which are attractive to Solitary bees. Following an infestation of Solitary Bees in 2019 the Ramsey Town Commissioners have installed a series of Insect Hotels in Mooragh Park of which this hotel is one. (

The Inner Wheel Club of Ramsey Sensory Garden can be found in the Mooragh Park in Ramsey.
The Inner Wheel Club led the project to create this haven of peace and tranquillity, but a number of other organisations and individuals brought the garden to fruition.
Sensory features of the garden include a variety of plant life selected for their texture and fragrance, a fountain and attracted wildlife for sounds.
