The Gladstone Agricultural Society was founded in 1889. This plaque, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the organization, is located at the entrance to the baseball fields on the north side of 5th Street in Gladstone. The plaque is attached to a rock that is embedded in a concrete and aggregate pad. The plaque reads:
