[FIN] Vuonna 1979 Turun kaupunki vietti 750-vuotisjuhliaan. Suomen Pankki julkaisi sen kunniaksi juhlarahan jossa on kuvattuna monia historiallisia rakennuksia kaupungista. Yksi niistä on Turun Tuomiokirkko. Kirkon voi nähdä kolikon vasemmassa yläkulmassa "Turku" sanan yläpuolella. Taiteilija on ottanut vapaudekseen tehdä kolikkoon kirkosta perspektiivin jota on oikeasti mahdotonta nähdä. Mutta kirkon pääfasaadi on hyvin tunnistettavissa kolikossa. Kolikon toisella puolella on kaloja esittämässä Turun merikeskeisyyttä.

[EN] In 1979, the city of Turku celebrated its 750th anniversary. In honor of this, the Bank of Finland issued a commemorative coin depicting many historic buildings in the city. One of them is Turku Cathedral. Church can be seen on top left corner of coin. Above text "Turku." The artist has taken "artistic freedom" to make the coin a perspective from the church that is really impossible to see. But the main façade of the church is very recognizable on the coin. On back side of coin you can see fishes, which represents sea near city of Turku.
