The play structures are located in the northwest corner of Brookshire Park. In 2009, Little Tikes play structures were assembled over a surface of wood fibre. The larger winding-slide structure is attached to the triple-slide structure by a circle of monkey bars. There is a sandbox between the play structures and the picnic gazebo. The sandbox usually includes a collection of discarded toys. The swings are separate from the play structures. There is also a splash pad nearby.
