A free community pantry is located in the parking lot of St. Thomas Church. It's at the southwest corner of Watkins and S. 48th St. The all white structure has four shelves, and unfortunately at the time of our visit, the only item inside was a bag of rice.
From the LFP website:
A little free pantry is located near the north entrance to the parking lot (off Watkins Ave.) Donations can be placed directly in the pantry, or given to the church for later use.
