NRHP Nomination Form"Stuccoed-brick movie theater built in 1928 as part of planned hotel/entertainment complex. Only airconditioned building in town at time of construction. Spanish-tile roof, Spanish Renaissance-influence window openings,
and decorative medallions on facade. Original interior quite elaborate, with star-studded sky and patio-like decoration; Spanish shawls hung on crenelated walls. Interior restoration undertaken in 1970s, but, after a fire, theater was converted into twin complex and original interior is now gone."
