Boston Light located on Little Brewster Island in outer Boston Harbor, Massachusetts and first lit in 1783 in the current tower and is the second oldest working lighthouse in the United States after Sandy Hook Lighthouse. Its foundation is granite ledge, and constructed of masonry, rubbie stone with brick lining. Its tower shape is conical. It is 89 feet high with a focal height of 102 feet. Its current lens is 2nd order Fresnel lens. and has a range of 27 nautical miles.
