This building hosts the Direcção Nacional da Polícia Judiciária, the nacional headquarters of the Portuguese criminal investigation police.
It's located in a relatively central spot of Lisbon, at the street Gomes Freire.
It's a new building, a nice complex which replaced the old facilities existent at the same location for decades. It was inaugurated in 2014. It has 40.000 sqm.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
