From this lookout tower you have a 360 degree panorama. Many different bird species can be seen in the Willeskop nature reserve. In the spring it is a nice place for, for example, wheatear, yellow wagtail, mocking bird, purple heron, summer teal, bluethroat and Temminck's sandpiper. In winter you have the chance to see bittern, peregrine falcon, merganser, hen harrier and lesser swan. This nature development area has a few shallow pools and rush fields. The area is located between two quays, the Bloklandse Dijk and the Noordzijde Kade. There are meadows on the south side of the last quay.
