Reading's Outside the Box Mural Project made its debut in the downtown area in August 2020. The utility box painted by Matt Baynes features an MBTA train at Reading Station.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) line is a commuter rail line serving the suburbs and cities around Boston. Matt Baynes has painted this utility box to depict a northbound MBTA train. On the north side of the utility box the train is entering Reading Station. The artist and signed and dated his work at the bottom of this side. On the south side the box the train is depicted leaving Reading station. The west side of the box is painted with white and purple stripes and is inscribed READING in white letters on the purple stripe. The east side of the utility box has white and purple stripes.
