The first documented building was a mill built 1730, the dam was built in 1875. As the old factory was tear down the canal that led to the factorys generator was filled with dirt. So the fishladder was built in 1985 and is made of stone and concret and has 10 pools.
the water is always beer colored but in the summer the fishladder is a populare bathing place,
