Die Anlage mit einem Steinkreuz aus Natursteinblöcken und drei
Steintafeln steht in der Dorfmitte an der Hauptstraße. Die Steintafeln
beinhalten Namen der Gefallenen und Vermissten des 1. und 2.
Weltkrieges.
Die kleine Ortschaft Vanikum ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Rommerskirchen
im Rhein-Kreis Neuss in Nordrhein-Westfalen und hat ca. 1000 Einwohner.
Vanikum liegt westlich von Rommerskirchen und steht in unmittelbarer
Nachbarschaft zu dem Braunkohlekraftwerk in Grevenbroich-Neurath.
The facility with a stone cross made of natural stone blocks and three
stone tablets is in the center of the village on the main road. The stone
tablets contain the names of those killed and missing from World War I and
II.
The small village Vanikum is a district of the municipality
Rommerskirchen in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia and has
approx. 1000 inhabitants. Vanikum is located west of Rommerskirchen and is
in the immediate vicinity of the lignite power plant in Grevenbroich-
Neurath.
