This well preserved grain wagon is on display at the entrance to the Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery. In addition to this wagon there is a Frost & Wood and a McCormick Deering sickle bar mowers.

Grain wagons were a necessity on many farms large and small and were usually horse or oxen driven. Some farmers later converted these to tractor driven. Though it is almost impossible to actually identify most vintage wagons, this one has some of the characteristics of being a Deere or possibly a Moline. Note the wooden wagon wheels, still well preserved.

This wagon, it appears to have been modified with conestoga style supports to look more like this type of wagon used to transport families and belongs across the prairies of Canada in the early settlement days.
