Der Hof soll ein Abspliss des benachbarten, alten Sinstedener Hofes sein, der als Altenteil der hinterlassenen Witwe des Sittarder Hofes zustand. Bei dem Wohnhaus auf dem Hof befindet sich ein Kruzifix eines alten Grabsteines in der Firstwand der Scheune. Der Torstein am Dameserhof ist auf 1715 datiert.
Die kleine Ortschaft Sinsteden ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Rommerskirchen im
Rhein-Kreis Neuss in Nordrhein-Westfalen und hat ca. 590 Einwohner. Sie liegt
unmittelbar an der Bundesstraße 59 (ehemalige Köln-Venloer Straße) zwischen
Rommerskirchen und Grevenbroich-Allrath. Erstmals wurde Sinsteden unter dem
Namen „Senstede“ um 1155 urkundlich erwähnt.
The courtyard is said to be a split from the neighboring, old Sinstedener Hof, which was the old part of the widow of the Sittarder Hof. There is a crucifix from an old tombstone in the ridge wall of the barn by the house in the yard. The Torstein at the Dameserhof is dated to 1715.
The small village Sinsteden is a district of the municipality of
Rommerskirchen in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia and
has approx. 590 inhabitants. It is located directly on the federal highway 59
(former Cologne-Venloer Straße) between Rommerskirchen and Grevenbroich-
Allrath. Sinsteden was first mentioned in a document around 1155 under the
name "Senstede".
