This beautiful high-backed bench will easily seat three adults. It is made of mostly stainless steel and some aluminum, with the form of a hay rake forming the support for the mesh seat back, and it is complemented by four wheat stalks. Colors are mostly shades of yellow, orange, and red, reflecting wheat fields in the hot, Texas sunshine. Installed in 2019, this is one of five -- so far -- artistic benches created by May+Watkins Designs. You'll find four of those five right here within a block of each other.
Artist: Carol May and Tim Watkins (May+Watkins Designs)

Date Placed: September 2019

Materials Used:
Stainless steel and aluminum
