Ray Friel was active in the
promotion and administration
of sports and recreational
activities throughout his life,
both as a volunteer and as a
member of township council
with a particular interest in
the needs of children and
youth from our community.

To his memory and for his
outstanding contribution,
this recreational facility is
hereby named
