The barn is located off W. Van Buren Street, about 3/4 mile west of Highway 74 on the southwest side of Crescent. Cherry Street is a small dirt drive running south of Van Buren, to a residence. The barn can be seen looking between two new homes on Van Buren, or by looking from the west on a private drive 200 ft. west.
This is a large white wood barn with a gable roof that is shingled with red shingles. The wood siding is horizontal. The hay loft faces south and the impression is that the barn was part of a larger farm on which newer homes were later built.
