Martin Nature Park covers 140 acres, with 3.5 miles of nature trails, ponds, and a variety of means of observing wildlife. This bird observation station allows you to view birds in the wild from a concealed location.
Birds that frequent this area include the red-bellied woodpecker and downy woodpecker (you'll hear woodpeckers over the park), the flashy yellow American goldfinch and bright red northern cardinal, and small birds like the tufted titmouse and Harris' Sparrow. The park has hummingbird feeders throughout the park and there are a few in view of this observation station, and you might see three different species of hummingbird here. An information plaque nearby aids in the identification of a few common Oklahoma birds.
