Red Barn Fruit Market is on the west side of 97 Hwy. if traveling south to Osoyoos. There are several interesting pieces of farm equipment and old tractors at this location, including this J.I. Case VA tractor.

This J.I. Case VA standard-tread model tractor was manufactured between 1942 to 1955 . Though I was unable to locate a serial number VT 161 is stamped on the transmission shifter plate. This J.I. Case VA was produced at the factory in Rock Island, Illinois, USA and in 1955 the original price was $1,580.
The VA series was the first Case tractors to use the Eagle Hitch, introduced in 1949.
